XXV AiIG PhD Summer School 2017 12-15 September, Milan
The 2017 Edition of the PhD Summer School will last 4 days, starting on September, the 12th at 13.00 and ending on September, the 15th at 14.00 and will be hosted by the School of Management – Politecnico di Milano, in Via Lambruschini, 4B (Building 26/B) – 20156 Milano, Italy.
The 2017 Edition of the Summer School will be the first one of a 3-year cycle of PhD Summer Schools and each Summer School will focus on one of these topics:
2017 – Research, which is aimed at developing the research skills of the PhD Students, by focusing in particular on:
o Structuring a relevant and solid research project and positioning it against existing bodies of research and theories;
o Producing strong outputs from a research project and placing them in the most appropriate journals;
2018 – Teaching, which is aimed at developing the teaching skills of the PhD Students, by focusing in particular on:
o Designing effective education programs based on an in-depth understanding of the underlying learning processes;
o Teaching and engaging students in both undergraduate and postgraduate education programs;
2019 – Impact, which is aimed at developing the capabilities of the PhD students to fund their research projects and impact management practice, by focusing on:
o Identifying and leveraging the most appropriate opportunities to fund a research project;
o Designing applied research projects in collaboration with corporate actors that can impact management practice.
